Well this weekend was very awesome. . and I have to definitely give props to Eric and Pam for scheming to make it so secretive and such a great surprise!!
The weekend was planned to be just a Friday night party night and then come home Saturday in time to watch some college football and go out to dinner. What actually happened was a plan that had apparently been under construction since before we had our last BBQ in our house, Eric flew up to Baltimore for a surprise going away party for me and J!! Pam had invited us up knowing he was going to have the weekend off from his WO/Flight School and had prepped us to be meeting her new boyfriend (which she unfortunatly has broken up with) while partying in DC!! We got to her house around 5ish Friday afternoon and started trying to get everything ready to go since it had been raining cats and dogs all damned day and looked to be that way for the remainder of the weekend. Around 7 she announced that she would be going to go pick up her "boyfriend" who lives about 40 minutes away in about a hour, so 8 rolls around and she buzzes off to go get him. I had started falling asleep on the couch at this point and J decided to try and teach Lindsay (Pam's Roommate) and her Boyfriend, Lex, to play some sort of drinking game so by the time Pam gets back to her house I was passed out from exhaustion and J, Lindsay, and Lex were properly drunk so it was completely chaotic when they walked thru the door!! Eric brought his new girlfriend, Becky, who btw I think we scared cause she didn't leave his side much. . not that I blame her but ya know? She was really sweet. . and I think J loved cracking short jokes on her cause she was all of maybe 4'10?? How she put up with him doing that was beyond me cause I would have slapped him several times during the course of the night, but she did and she also tried really hard to stay up with us drinking and playing games!! Anyways. .Friday night ended about 4am on Saturday morning and Saturday started about 9am. . Talk about a bunch of tired people. . I don't even know how we did half of the things we got to on Saturday!! So Saturday we went shopping, bowled and got over to Chili's to get some food. . then headed back to the house to plan on what would go on after hours!! We ended up not doing anything else but watching movies and playing card games while talking. . but it was so much fun!! I was really wishing that Eric and Becky could have stayed longer . . SUCH A GREAT WEEKEND!!!
