The weekend was pretty interesting. .
Friday after I got off work, we went to dinner at Applebees. . I love eating there and love love love the Perfect Margarita!!! After we got back I got a call from the ranch owners asking if I would be available to work on Saturday. . I figured it would be good to be outta the house so I said I would be there.
So Saturday went out and worked there . . it was so much fun. . well aside from getting pawed by Tag-a-long it was fun, damn colt decided he didn't want me to take away his food bucket after he was done eating!! We had about 5 rides - 1 lunch, 1 two hour canal, and 3 hour and a half mountain rides - so we (the guides) were split up most of the day. The last 2 rides were a complete blast for different reasons. . the last one cause I got to play with Mischief and run around with her closing gates while the other two guides lead the actual trail ride. . the next to last cause it was a whole bunch of ghetto city folk (not being racist either) so it was just amusing, ecspecially when the biggest woman of the bunch came in there telling us what we would and wouldn't do and what she was and wasn't going to ride. . hello. . you are pushing 350lbs and lying thru your teeth so you aren't going to get to ride unless we put you on the damned draft horse!! Grrr. . people are so stupid!! Anyways. . got done about 6pm and found out that J had decided we were going to Baltimore to go out. . so I had to talk one of the girls into covering the next day for me. . and then race home to get showered and dressed to go out dancing!!
Sunday we were lazy till about noon when Pam finally got up. . . then we drove home and watched FootBall and Charmed!!! BTW. . Texas A&M 62, Oklahoma State 23 . . . Gig'em!!
Today I take Mimic for his last vet appointment before he gets on the plane to go to Hawaii!! I am so excited. . . one more week of "work" (more like just keeping busy so I am not bored). . Friday we close on the house . . Saturday and Sunday I work out at the ranch for the last time. . and then we will be driving up to stay with J's NCOIC till we fly out.
