Where did the time go??
I could say that it's gone into all the busy everyday work of having a full time job, of the hectic time trying to prep the house for sale, visits with family and friends... I could state that my time hasn't been my own for more days than it has been, or that I've been ineffectual in keeping track of the time... In parts all of this and none of this truly account for the speed in which time seems to have passed though, it's bound to pass at the same speed regardless of what I've done or said I've done... It's just the perception of how quickly time passes when you are looking back over your shoulder.
However... I am very glad to say that I've gotten a lot done in the past few months...
1) Managed to get the house prepared for sale and under contract in less than a month, other posts can attest to how this has progressed.
2) Managed to acquire all Medical Records, that sounds easy but it wasn't - in fact this was almost an act of congress.
3) Managed to get most of my work at the office completed to a point where it will be relatively easy to hand over most of the work.
*) there has been lots more than these 3 things but since most of it was the work of less than a day, I don't feel it deserves it's own bullet really... I'm just really grateful that it so far has seemed to fall so effortlessly into place as of yet.
Today in fact, I've decided to start cleaning out my office of personal items... man, this is going to be fun... I've got all manner of cups, trinkets, decor, etc in my office... I think I'm glad I didn't do more to my office than I did, cause seriously, this is going to take a few trips! This weekend will be the first weekend that I'll be able to finally talk my husband into getting everything together in a centralized location that will be actually going with us in our own vehicles instead of being packed by the moving company which is coming next week to start packing up our house... I guess we'll figure out what we'll be doing this weekend with everything and what we'll be doing without everything... this should be fun!
