Happy 1 Year Nathan baby!!!

So my wee little man turn 1 while we were visiting my parents in Texas - so all within 2 weeks he seemed to learn all sorts of new things... he learned to let go of furniture or hands to walk (although he's still super timid doing so), he learned to properly crawl (yup, just in time to walk), learned that he can motor up a set of stairs quick and in a hurry, learned he LOVES cake and frosting, and many many more things I'm sure I'm forgetting...

None-the-less... 

We took our first flight, he did amazing and I'm so glad he did as well as he did since it was just me on the flight to Texas...

We got to meet his cousins...

Played guitar with Grandpa... well really did a lot of stuff with Grandpa cause he's the best grandpa ever!! Grandpa introduced Nathan to the sheep, goats, chickens, horse, dogs... pretty much everything LOL and Nathan loved spending time sitting wherever Grandpa was... it was super sweet!

Nathan loved every second with his Grandma too, but I think next to Momma, Grandpa was the best thing...

He got to meet aunts and uncles... (and church members who felt they were vested interests in his life because they prayed for him) and some pretty amazing friends who I wish we still lived close too cause damn if I don't miss them all every day!

Me and the hubby spent a week in Baja Sur fishing while he was bonding with the grandparents, it was nice but hot! We went with some a good friend and his wife/girlfriend and had a blast, kinda already looking forward to doing that again but I did miss my little boy in the process...

Then we had a small birthday cake for little bit...

Such a stinker...

Oh... did I mention he got his wings!? The stewardess loved him...
